Delaware Manor and Heights
Delaware Manor and Heights are located on the same piece of property in a city setting with parks, churches, shopping, and public transportation nearby. Delaware Manor was built in the early 1980’s and has 47 1- and 2-bedroom units. Delaware Heights was built in 2013 and has 36 1-bedroom units. Both buildings have barrier-free units and some of the special features are lowered countertops, switches, closet shelving, step-in showers, and grab bars in the bathrooms. All units have pull cords which are monitored 24/7. Each building has a Resident Computer Lab, Community Room with TV, and outdoor patio area. Laundry is available in each building. Each building has a secured entrance and security is on duty in the evenings and weekends. The Kent County Senior Meals Program serves a hot lunch Monday thru Friday at noon in the Delaware Manor Community Room for all Residents interested. Management provides a Service Coordinator who is available to assist residents with their social service needs.
